*Setareh* is an experienced instructor who offers conscientious guidance with an emphasis on techniques that support individualistic expression in dance. Classes provide a clear physical explanation of the movement, as well as related cultural, regional, and historical information.
In teaching, *Setareh* honors her roots in American Cabaret belly dance, a rich fusion of movement and musicality originating in Egypt, Tunisia, Greece, Turkey, Lebanon, and the US. She also draws on extensive study with the Egyptian master teachers who are instrumental in advancing the dance form today. Each lesson in dance brings something new, a benefit to the beginner and advanced dancer alike. All levels of dance experience and fitness are welcome.
